Sapphire radeon 9550

Ive just overclocked my radeon 9550 from 250/200 to 400/220, by flashing the BIOS.
My games now have much better graphics, but there are sometimes random flickers of white when in-game. Is there any particular reason for this?

Probably the core clock is too high. Decrease the core speed to 350 or 380MHz and try again. If your memory is 4.0ns it can work normally at 250MHz.
