Second monitor is showing as 1 and I cant change it? - windows 10

Just as title says, I connect my second monitor and it says "1" in display under settings and I cannot change it. It is making my primary monitor as 2 and "make this my main display" is greyed out when I select my primary display.

here is a picture to better help understand. I tried reinstalling nvidia drivers. Any clue?
 
What cables are you using to connect them to the tower?
 
Is there any actual problem here? Or it's just that you want "2" being called "1" and vice versa?
 
@CabanaBanana Have you tried changing which connector the screens are attached to on the graphics card? That's assuming you have enough connectors to swap between and both displays have matching interfaces.

Pretty sure the GPU connectors dictate which display is initilialized first. So if it's possible to swap them around, do so.
 
If the "make this my main display" check box is greyed out, it means that the current display, "2", is already the primary display.

If you want display 1 to be primary, click on the "1" display in "Rearrange your displays" then select the "make this my main display" check box.
 
You swap the cables around, assuming they're on the same interfaces.
