Secondary SSD on 100% usage when opening any aplication on it

Hey.

So i've had a problem when my secondary drive (ssd) gets to 100% usage everytime i try to do something on i. (opening a program, copy a file onto it...) When i removed it from my system the same problem transfered to one of my hard drives.

My Configuration:
Ryzen 7 1700x
Gigabyte Aorus B450 elite
16gb hyperx ram 2667mhz
500w BeQuiet system power 9 psu
Msi Rx 570 gpu
DISCS:
Gigabyte 1tb nvme m.2 ssd (primary, with windows on it)
Wd Green HDD 1tb
Wd Green HDD 1tb (problem transfered to this hdd cca 2 weeks after i removed my ssd from the system)
Wd Green SSD 240gb (has a problem)

I've tried many different possible fixes but none of them have worked. I had all of my discs separately checked by local pc repair company and they said they are all working fine. I've tried changing the cables (sata data & sata power),
i've changed my motherboard from asrock x370 pro4 to gigabyte b450 aorus elite (i thought that sata controller on my old mobo was broken), and clean installed windows, but nothing changed. Softwarewise i checked what process is eating up my ssd and found something from windows defender, so i turned it off but it didn't work. I am yet to disable superfetch and prefetch, but when i did it with my old mobo it didn't work either.
Do you have any idea what else could i do to fix this problem?

Where do you see the 100% usage? If in task manager then don't believe it. When the 100% usage occurs does it lag or you have noticed low speeds on ssd?

I see this 100% usage in task manager, yes. and it does lag quite a bit. it reports crazy response times like 19000ms and beyond. And while this occurs i'm not able to open any program or access any other file on the disc

When task manager says it is used 100% what read or write speeds does it show? When it happens again open hd tune and run bechmark test and post picture here.

Use resource manager, that'll give you more detailed information about what's using your disk.

up to now, (in task manager) it showed read and write speeds of 0.0mb/s, i'll check it again with Hd tune tho.

PCIe number of lanes in b450 MB's is limited to 6+20 from CPU (16 for graphic+4 shared between m.2 and SATA. Your case for graphic card used x16, for m.2 SSD x4, for network x1, for USB also(don't know how) for sound not sure and for 3 SATA devices also used PCIe. Maybe not enough lanes left when trying to use m.2(primary disc with windows I suppose) and 240gb SATA SSD...

So if I understand correctly my processor is probably lacking chipset pci lanes and can't simultaneously handle 3 sata devices + network cards etc on the mobo? But i'm curious why would the problem reoccur with my hdd once i removed my ssd from the PC and so there were only 2 sata devices left....

I also wonder, so my comment is rather in a partially questionable form.

I don't believe that it is the case. I had z170 mobo with 6700k for 5 years. 1080 ti, one m.2, two hdd and never ever I have had this type of problem. I can add in in the loop that I had as well asus xonar essence sxt audio card as well :).

Gladly for me and sadly for you I have not had this kind of issue ever. What speeds could you get from hd tune when windows is showing 100 usage?

I would've said requiescat in pace but I don’t think death is transferable. So I'll hold my judgement.
As for anecdotal experience, same thing happened to my hard disk when it started to die. Read was fine with crazy amount of latency but couldn’t write anything. I quickly copied all the important files while they were still readable. A week later hard disk became non-detectable.

yea, that once happened to me but after removing the hard drive and putting it back in after about 2 weeks it was recognisable again, but still with 100% usage
