To view this case mod, go here.

Specs:

GPU: Powercolor X1950PRO Extreme 256MB
HDD: Western Digital WD800 80GB IDE
PSU: Widetech 530W PSU (Generic?)
Optical Drives: LG GSA H6N SATAII
Case: Apex/Allied PC-132
Cooling:
-AcceleroS1 on GPU
-1x ZM-F1
-3x ZM-F2 (92mm)
-Ultra 120 eXtreme on CPU

So this is my backup PC, which basically is shared by my family. The PC also uses quiet hardware, but isnt silent at all. Basically if my main system fails, I can switch back to this without any issues, as it is indeed more than enough for me. Please enjoy! And ignore the fact that the case is pretty half decent on the outside. The inside is all I care about for this.

Equally delicious, if only a little dated. tkpenalty is the MAN when it comes to cable tidyness.

7/10

I love the cable management, I always do :p got an 8 from me. I like the sleek look of it too, thats a nice case.

Theres a black version of the same case which i want >_<. I was too impatient and went for this instead. But yeah this case is very good for the $30AUD I paid for it. The steel isnt so thin that you can easily bend it, like other Generic cases that are on the market. I just hate how it only has a 92mm outtake. Anyone on a budget, I'd recommend one of these lol.

Guys please leave a comment. I want to improve on it!

I just took it back to the apartment so you guys wont really see any more photos of it for now... I'm also broke. I'd really love to get a NZXT Guardian for it.... but thats if i had the money.

One day, when I'm older, I will learn to do cabling like that!
But until then - Nice!

A suggestion: By cutting out the grill on the exhaust fan and replacing with one of the generic chromed wire ones, you will help with the airflow, which helps with temps, etc.

I'd do that if the temps werent already as low as they are. I mean a similar setup before with different cooling ran way warm in the SOLO...

The only reason I could think this might not be 'silent' would be the smaller fans, but I guess you can always find lower RPM 92/80mm fans.

Otherwise, this and your primary rig were what I was competing with when I was modding my rig.
