These closed back noise canceling headphones are a great buy for the low price and shipped for free at Newegg. Glasses wearers need to understand that the investment in contact lenses has other benefits than sight. Glasses will mess up the seal and have an impact on sound quality and noise canceling. After hours of listening I would say these have a really good open soundstage for closed headphones and really clear and defined midrange. I don't buy into the fact that these are as power efficient as it might seem since my Blackberry needs much higher volume settings than other headphones I have like the Sennheiser HD 595 and 515. They sound great powered by a FiiO E9 on the low gain setting. Portable users might need help from devices like the FiiO E5 or something similar to bring out the best but these are awesome and a steal for $36.99.
P.S The SC stands for short cable or shitty cable as far as I'm concerned at 4.5 feet but that is solved with an extender. Play it loud!!!!
