Short mouse freezes on specific actions in Windows

as soon as the Nvidia drivers are installed, I keep having specific and short freezes in Windows, especially when I have just restarted my system. The first freeze occurs when I go into the display settings.(you know, right-click display settings..) Other freezes occurs on like starting Discord or Spotify.

Any ideas on how to fix this please?

Check the mouse, make sure the sensor is clean and not on a reflective surface.

Make sure bitlocker is not active and that your drive wasnt encrypted with it, then disable TPM.

I have tried different mice but with no joy. I don't use bitlocker but TPM is enabled. Can I disable TPM with windows 11 installed?

Yes all up to date I have even tried different bios versions to see If that would fix the issue but no joy

Chipset drivers are also up to date? Which OS, Win10 or 11?

Restarted? Possibly gpu faulty too...

Yes all done many times. My GPU Is fine in games got no artefacts and the performance is great. Could it still be the GPU?

Have you tried different USB ports? I prefer USB2.0 ports for keyboards and mice, no matter the platform.

Yes tried UBB2/USB3 ports with no joy. I could try and borrow a friends GPU to install and see if It's still the same
