Should I get a Nintendo Wii OR and Xbox 360?

don't know but I have heard of people doing it, well on the original xbox anyways.

Or you could install Yellow Dog Linux for the PS3, even though it is terrible. The best thing about it is the access to documentation on the Cell API.

hmmm... in my opinion Xbox 360 is stronger than PS3, i think Sony lied about it's power.

If you look at the technical specs on each console you might notice key differences in bandwidth limits and efficiency in the 360 than in the ps3.

IGN had a good article on spec comparing. Lost link so oh well.

Original Xbox is just a centium 3. (Pentium 3 mixed with a celeron).. other than the bios barrier, its essentially an x86 PC.

The 360 is power pc based... but yellow dog or red hat shouldn't have any problems, properly ported..

Big problem is the bios/firmware on the machines that prevents a lot of fun.

Not too many people have seen what amazing things a regular Xbox can do with an open bios.

It is no contest, THE ultimate media center.
