its still high for a Ryzen 5 dude..AK620 also isn't a slouch at cooling IMHO..something else is wrong..

On the contrary, the AK620 Digital is one of the poorer performing coolers.
You only have to look it up in tests done here on this site.

Something is definitely wrong then. Did you make sure to center the cooler before securing it; did you secure it properly?

Seems to me like it could be a contact issue...

It is high, but considering how warm their ambient temps are, that really doesn't sound that crazy for an all core stress test. They've still got plenty of room before thermal throttling.
