I missed getting in on the other thread, but my experience with Sidewinder was no better nor any worse than than any other online retailer I have purchased from.

And, from looking at Resellerratings, Sidewinder has a decent reputation even when compared to some of the bigger companies:

Of course, no-one is perfect, and there will always be foul-ups.

I, myself, have sworn off using PayPal because of the (lack of) customer service they provided to me in the past.

PLEASE do not start this again. This was thoroughly covered yesterday and the thread was locked for a purpose. Your concern about google is ~valid, but anyone reading that thread would get the idea of what happened. This would just be rubbing salt in an open wound.
 
Yes, the issue has been settled. If people are using Google and find that thread. They will clearly see that Sidewinder Computers did no wrong and this was perpetuated by a manic customer who couldn't be pleased no matter what.

I just wanted to post a positive titled thread about them to try and offset the negative one.

Do you have something invested into sidewinder's? What do you care if someone posted their experience? Where is the positive aspect you are trying to portray? You are manipulating the system.

My disclosure: I have never heard of sidewinder computers or gary.

The original complainant's thread was not "artificial." According to his own standards of service he was displeased by Sidewinder Computer's response. That is very legitimate even if your personal standards for what constitute good service don't mirror his.

This thread however is false. It is unnecessary because you're trying to snuff out the original thread's influence- by your own admission even. I think this thread should be closed too.
