I have a I7 4790k that runs at 4.2 ghz on all cores and ht enabled, no powersavings enabled

I have a very silent Thermalright true spirit true 140, low load 40 degress, normal use 45-50 degress and with asus real bench it's 69-70 degress, mabye a few times it reached 71 degress (prime 95 much higher).

I want to run my cpu at 4.5 ghz, not that i need it to run that fast, but because i can.

I think 70 degress is okay, but i can only have this temperature at 4.2ghz.

I therefor am looking for a aio cpu cooler which is silent, one for silent freaks but without sacrificing temps

Swiftech H220-X is to expensive and i thought the cm eisberg 240L prestige was one of the most silent aio cpu coolers, but now i think it has a very noisy pump after watching this video
.

I ones had bad experience with the corsair H100i, i could hear the pump and at 100% the fans sounded like a hair dreyer(never thought it was silent with the stock fans), rma'ed it beacuse of the threaded holes that didn't let me thighten the screws/fans, it was qualified for rma and i sent it the cheapest way with no insurance, it got somehow lost from denmark to corsair, never got it back. (monday, sent it saturday, there was a guy i think from DHL that would pick up my cpu cooler to sent it back to corsair with no charge, had i just know that i might today have a perfect Corsair H100I)

Is there any aio cpu cooler you would recommend me to buy that is for silnet freaks (with better fans if nesseary) for no more then 100€,125$ that is cooler then a decent air cpu cooler like the cooler master hyper 212 evo and the one i have thermalright true spirit 140.

Corsair H90 seem to be okay silent so even with my bad experience with the corsair H100I mabye this cooler could be the one for me, i have a corsair af quiet 120mm fan i could use for the cooler although almost everybody recommends sp fans. http://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/Corsair/H90/6.html

If i got me a aio cpu cooler i would also be able to buy 2x 4gb g-skill trident x ram so i have 16 gb

I want it to be completly silent up to 50% cpu usage and up to about 75% silent and if i would use my cpu 100% i don't mind it to be noticeable, lets say max 30db at 50%, 35db at 75% and 40-45db at 100%

In short - no.

For want you want it takes a 480 rad, a controller and four real silent fans.

He can do something but not exactly what he wants.

Because what he wants only a real custom water cooling loop can do.

My advice is to aim to AIO coolers but only with the largest radiators such

Cooler master Nepton 280L
NZXT Kraken X60
Corsair H110

Forget about the iseberg from cooler master the pump noise is pure shit they had hard time selling because people where warned about the noise via reviews.

Not a bad price this NZXT Kraken X60 just under 10 € more then my budget about 15€ with delivery, cooler master Nepton 280L just a bit more expensive the corsair H110 is just to expensive (don't trust those who have it at the lowest price).

What about 2 silent (used) fans? (used to keep the price down, mabye if i am lucky someone hase new fans they havn't used i can get for a good price

I have this cabinet used in the review of aio cpu coolers http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/nepton-280l-tundra-td02-water3.0-pro-reserator3-max,3607-10.html

Please tell me more i need to know, so atleast i know what to aim for and what it costs, if i can keep it under 150€,187$

The fans that you find inside the Kraken X60 are PWM in idle you wil not hear them keep in mind they are 140mm fans they move alot more air than a 120mm fan.

A 140mm fan perform better with same rpm as a 120mm fan.

So dont worry to buy other fans from another manufacturer.

Your case is the Deep Silence 1 from Nanoxia you have plenty of room for all the AIO that i mentioned.

Considering your budget get the Kraken X60.

Why should he buy a two to three year old AIO?
Also let's look at reality here..... that TR cooler he has kicks ass, and an AIO may be a couple or a few degrees cooler. With the intent to do what the OP is asking, I don't see investing all that loot into something that is marginally better. Not saying it is the best idea to go this route either, but at the budget set, I looked at Aquatining, and you can get a 240 custom Phobya kit for that money.

I have changed my mind, i am going for silence because i have seen this review of the new Thermalright macho zero.

4.5 ghz with a i7 4770k it's less then 6 degress hotter(passive)then my cpu cooler and used semi passive (using the rear fan with the fan duct) it's 6.5 degress cooler and even cooler then my cpu cooler that uses a fan, i don't dare to imagine if i use my thermalright ty -147 fan how cool it would be, i think that's amazing for a passive/semi passive cpu cooler.

i7 4770k 4.5 ghz semi passive delta is 50 degresse and that is without adding an extra fan http://www.play3r.net/reviews/cooling/thermalright-macho-zero-review/6/

I was about to comment about that. I have a 4790k running at 4.5GHz . . . with a VID of 1.190v resulting in a Vcore of 1.212v. I'm in the middle of testing, but for the interim I would highly recommend a Noctua NH-D15 with both LNA's attached. I get 32dBA (@ 1m) in a 30 dBA basement. 30 dBA is the SPL that you read in a dead silent room, BTW. The NH-D15 includes two NF-A15 PWM fans and the two RC-7 adapters as LNA's. I'm getting low- to mid-80's on LinX (Linpack 11, 26000 problem size) with ambient temps 21-22*C.

IOW, with maximum stress (Linpack 11 uses AVX2) this heatsink is holding the temps down -- silently.

As for the Eisberg, mounting a sample was the absolutely most difficult mount I have ever done. I disrecommend it.

It seems that the OP wants a quick and easy solution, I have not considered the kit from Phobya

The OP did not specify if it was okay even a air cooled system.

What weight does the age of the component if it is still for sale also the Noctua NH-D14 has been around for several years, and many have it still buying it.

I don't mind a air cooler or a aio solution so i can run my cpu at 4.5 ghz (not that i need that much power but because i can)

With the same thermalright true spirit 140 i got my i5 3570 k (which i don't have anymore) to run at 4.5 ghz can't remeber the temps but it was okay, the 4770k had tim problems so when the price was the same i bought the i7 4970k but even though it's surpose to be alot cooler then the i7 4770k i found it a stock setting to be hot (i run my cpu cooler at quiet, silent mode, quiet or extreme quiet on my asus Maxiumus Vii Ranger z97 mb and no powersavings enabled) i know a i7 with ht runs a bit hotter beacisuse of ht, just was surpised it was that hot, around 70 degresse at 4.0 ghz using prime 95.

http://peecee.dk/uploads/092014/2014-09-12_11_25_44-Prime95.png

So after reading a oc post on how to do it, i stopped at 4.2ghz, i want okay temps and a silent cpu cooler

Like my thermalright cpu cooler alot good temps and silent, when i so the new thermalright macho zero i looked at some of the few reviews and it's extremly good at 4.5 ghz with a i7 4770k, as i wrote better then my true spirit with a fan and of course silent (tower almost twices as bit as the one on my true spirit), using the rear fan i have i could use the fan duct and get about 6.5 degress lower temps that makes it a bit cooler them my true spirit with a fan. I can't imagine the new thermalright macho zero not being surperior then the true spirit 140 and i can run it passive, semi passive and with a silent fan and be equal or betteh then my true spirt 140.

Actually if you look at the graph the archorn IB-E X2 has a delta that's the same as the macho zero in passive mode at 4.5 ghz with a i7 4770k achorn IB-E X2 according to google uses 2 fans, then i just had to get one

How about making a duct / shroud from the back of your TRUE Spirit 140 to your exhaust fan? A 3 sided duct from motherboard to top of cooler on both sides and top. with the motherbord side of duct. Something like file folders work very well .. a little masking tape, a glue stick, razor knife and straightedge and fold the corners over a good square edge, then fold a little farther to get 90 degrees.

I have the new Macho Zero as well as TRUE Spirit 140, TRUE Spirit 140 Power & TRUE Spirit 140 BW Rev.A. Best is TS 140 P.
