Eurogamer.net reports that SiN 2 will be released through Steam in episodes. Each episode will have about 6 hours of gameplay and go for about $20. They say episodes will be released every 3-4 months. The first episode is slated for "winter" 2005.
Steam is Valve's system for distributing games online. It was rumored that Valve would take up releasing other developers' games through Steam, but this confirms it. Not surprisingly, SiN 2 will use Valve's Source game engine as Source and Steam are already compatible with each other.
