when I restart the computer CAM takes forever to check for updates and load. load time takes 10 to 15 minutes and the system is unusable intel it is loaded does anybody have CAM and is it doing the same thing?

Yes, it seems to hang. I don't really need it so I just disabled it at at start up.

I just messed around with the settings I'm going to restart and see what happens. if it still does it I'll disable hardware acceleration and see what that does so far I got all the game stuff disabled.

disabling the game crap seems to help now I'm going to try disabling hardware acceleration see what that does

well, disabling hardware acceleration made it worse didn't have to restart CAM just restarted on its own. now I'm going to disable the CAM collecting info and see what that does

well, the only thing that helped was disabling the game crap nothing else made no dierance. still a little slow but better

I didn't even try to troubleshoot it as it's just for RGB setting and it's set off anyway.

It was using fair bit of CPU and just white screen. I only let it run a few minutes.

I terminate it and stop it auto starting.

CAM is garbage software that is best uninstalled.

Use an older version

I found that if I deactivate hardware acceleration I wasn't able to turn it back on in cam then after talking to tech suport for a few hours they weren't able to find out why then I turned off all my security software temporary and it activated again so cam don't play well with security software they said they will be looking into that

CAM is garbage software that is best uninstalled.
yep but I need it to set my NZXT Kraken Z73 CPU cooler but I do agree with you

lol I wish I would have got the Asus water CPU cooler that thing looks cool but at the time it was out of my price range
