I had large fps drops (from 100 to 45-50) when zooming in with a 12x sniper scope on 64 player maps over large distances. I have found the solution to this zooming in problem. It regards tesselation. I unchecked the option "amd optimized" in CCC and reduced the tesselation manually to x8 and boom baby!!!! No more problems...i get more fps when zooming in with the 12x scope(even on Caspian Border I get like 130 instead of 50 before; medium fps without zooming in is 95-100). All settings Ultra and without MSAA, 1680x1050. The change in tesselation is not noticeable in game at all. I suggest you guys try to bump the tesselation even more, I only tried with x8 last night and I was so happy I could now snipe properly that I forgot to close the game and up it myself. I wish you all (useful and for the sake of the objectives) good sniping.
P.S. and bragging: 10 min after I entered the game and it was going all smoth when zooming in I shot a 888m headshot on a moving chopper pilot. I nearly fell off my chair
