Not sure of your point here. The number of times removed (as long as not damaged) has no affect on the price.and I've only taken it out of my motherboard once

Interesting. I wonder what they base it on? Ever since ZIF (zero insertion force) sockets have been in existence, barring any mishandling (or ESD), I don't see how removing a processor that just "sits" on the pads or pins can be damaged or wear out, regardless the number of times it is removed.Read somewhere
