When I press the (-) button, it simply disappears, yet it is still running on background, I am certain that it not showing on the minimized tab is not supposed to happen.

It started just today, there were some updates from windows and some updates from the graphic cards, not sure if its connected, but that is what I know.

Windows 11, Intel I7 10th, Nvidia 3050TI, all drivers up to date.

Throttlestop works properly, but I don't know if it now showing in the minimized tab of windows, might affect or not its functionality as it still supposedly working at the background.

Is this a software-sided issue or is it my computer not letting it work properly? How to fix?

Open up the Options window and try checking the various Notification Icon boxes. When everything is working correctly, new icons should show up in the Notification area immediately.

Microsoft probably changed are broke something. That might be why Microsoft calls these things Updates, not improvements.

It looks like ThrottleStop is still working. Just the Notification Area Icons appear to be broken.

How to fix?
I am still running Windows 10. It works fine. I have no plans to install Windows 11 anytime soon. If a Windows Update broke the ThrottleStop icons then they will remain broken unless Microsoft decides to undo whatever they did.

I messed around with the notification area, and it said "you have to restart ThrottleStop", I did and I also restarted the laptop, (before I also restarted the laptop, but it did not work that past time), and now the icon is back again showing up.

The icon in the minimized tab is working properly now.
