[SOLVED] Zotac Z77 ITX reporting cpu temp 86c but it is not

Hi All, I am starting to consider the idea that some temp sensor has gone on my glory Zotac Z77 ITX mobo. Never had an issue before today. Just today I noticed how the cpu fan is spinning at almost its full speed even if the temps are fine according to HWMonitor (32-35 c per core) in idle.
The issue can be noticed once entered in the BIOS under the power-health tab...the cpu temperature is being constantly reported to be 86c which is impossible as nothing has changed in the last months and to say the whole true I can play at any game and see how the temps do not exceed 65c in HWMonitor.
The problem however is annoying me as the faulty bios temp reporting is triggering the cpu fan to go as fast as it can making my setup too loud.
Someone knows if my motherboard can be fixed? (as I am almost sure this is the case)
Thanks

First, try reseating the fan plug and repasting the CPU heatsink (just in case it is in fact running hotter).
Second, see if there is a bios update for the motherboard.
Third, try changing the fan curves within the bios.

Use LNA (low noise adapters).

Well, it is the infamous TMPIN3 sensor to cause the fan reach its maximum speed...just as I ve sayd the sensor is stucked at 86c and from what I ve read around it is probably broken.

Never thought it could be. I just disconnected all the cables from the motherboard (power, sata, etc) and removed the graphics card...resettled them once again and the magic happened. Now again I have the TMPIN3 sensor working in place :)
