some help to choose a cheap 32gb ddr4 ram set

x: I bought a 1TB WD Black last February for a client build, which cost me ~$160....that same drive now can be easily found for ~$50, and the 2TB version is currently going for just over $100, hell, even the 4TB models are quickly approaching the $200-225 point :)
just bought firecuda 1tb 520 for like $60. never used nvme so well see. thanks.
That 3200 is probably at XMP since 1.35V, if it wont run xmp the actual speed might be 2133. If you want to run 3200 at stock or without changing any settings and gaunteed have to see if it says 1.2V, this will be plug and play JEDEC.
I dont need heavy overclocks if any. ill probably run a ryzen 5 5600x and then maybe 2-3 years later I can upgrade to a used ryzen 9 or ryzen 7. a stupid question. are the ryzen 5/7/9 use the same socket? the motherboard says it uses all 5000 chips. so a 5600x and r9 5900x as well?. sorry for my noob dumbness. I am not up to date. my last pc was purchased years back. an 8320fx chip. everytime I psych myself to get something, newer gear comes out and im not keeping up.

I think ill get patriot Viper ELITE II DDR4 32gb 3600. run it slower. all the new gear is going to a huge step up from my 8320 pc. cheers!

amd is usually a little more sensitive on ram controller, so adding sticks later is not a good idea,
ignoring for a moment that you will drop in perf with most 4 sticks (vs 2).

while you might think oc as in ocin (manually), anything past 2133 on ryzen, is considered "oc",
and the sweet spot is 3600, so you can run 1800mhz on bus, going slower makes no sense,
as you will be "throttling" all other stuff for no reason/need.

recommended kits will be different depending on location, i prefer 3600C16, or if possible, a 3600C14 or any +4000 kit,
as those are all b-die grade (or similar).

32/64gb kits
i would prefer a Patriot Viper kit, cant find 3600C14, but these will do those numbers at AMP voltage.

4000C19
4000C16

yes, they use the same socket, but it doesnt mean its a good idea to run 5950 on a lower tier MB...
might wanna help yourself and fill in system specs, so ppl know what yo have hw wise.

@chrcoluk
if the ram not performing properly because of "other" things, is hardly the rams fault.
its like blaming the car, when there is a speed limit. ;)

havent seen any of my ryzen builds (with IF at 1800) not performing as specced for xmp/amp,
if 2 sticks were used, and includes low cost/grade crappy die corsairs.

not talking about the premium for (expected) "bdie" grade performance.
