Ok, so this is my first AMD setup like EVER. Been using till this day Intel - i7 series all the time so im kinda noobish when it comes to AMD and their correct setup. I would really need some help about OC and tweaks in general. And yes, im using Ryzen 9 default stock cooler from the box.

CPU : Ryzen 9 3900x
Mobo : MSI X570 MPG Gaming Plus
Ram : G SKILL Trident 3600mhz
GPU : GTX 1080ti
PSU : 735W 80 PLUS Bronze RAIDMAX

This is my current setup ( google / youtube etc )

Ryzen Master :

CPU-Z MSI : CPU-Z MSI Memory :

Finished Cinebench R15 :
So, whenever i test my Cinebench i get aprox 90-94c temp ( which is high )

Please help me out here, what should i do etc.

And yes, if i put in BIOS RAM to be 3600mhz, my system doesnt boot-up, so i had to put it @3533 and it works.

Thank you guys in advance

You need to get control of your temps before you even think about overclocking. I am a big fan (no pun intended) of using OEM coolers. But no cooler (OEM or the best aftermarket) can effectively cool a CPU if case cooling is inadequate. If you think about it, all the CPU cooler needs to do is toss the CPU's heat up into the flow of cool air flowing through the case. But if that flow is not adequate, the CPU cooler will just be blowing hot air around. Not good.

You did not tell us what case you are using, or how it's cooling is set up. If you don't have a good flow (typically front-to-back) of cool air in the case, you need to fix that. If the case does not support large (120mm or preferably ≥140mm) fans in front and back, you should probably consider a new case. If your case supports and has decent case cooling and your temps are still that high, then you might need a better CPU cooler.

I am assuming the current OEM cooler is properly mounted and the TIM (thermal interface material) was properly applied and the cured bond has not be broken. NOTE: You do NOT need to replace the TIM just because it has been X number of years since it was applied. You only need to replace TIM if the cured bond has been broken. Yes, a fresh new layer of TIM might yield a few degrees of better cooling, but if a few degrees is all it takes to keep from crossing thermal thresholds, something else is wrong (like case cooling) and needs to be addressed first.

I am also assuming the case interior is clean of heat trapping dust and all current fans are spinning freely.

Welcome to TPU!
I too will ask about what cooler are you using for that 3900X. The testing that W1zzard has done here on TPU has shown that keeping Ryzens cool is the most important thing and then just let them do their thing. Manual OC'ing is mostly a waste of time.
As for the RAM, have you seen: https://www.techpowerup.com/forums/threads/ryzen-dram-calculator-by-1usmus.246327/
And when I see RAIDMax for the PSU, I start to get nervous, but we'll see.

Well yeah, thermal is applied properly and my case is CoolerMaster Stryker ( http://us.coolermaster.com/product/Detail/case/storm-case/stryker.html)

Im using 3x120mm fans + one 240mm on top of mobo.

Also, in gaming ( Tested now in Dota 2 max settings ) @ 1440p with this results :
Just to clarify, this is new setup purchased yesterday ( except 1080ti ) that's my old gpu from previous setup, i feel like i dont need to change GPU now since it can run whatever i want tbh.

Did you set the memory Voltage to 1.35V? That's most likely the culprit there.

Also, TPU can host your images, no need to use a third party site. Just click on Insert image and you can upload them here.

I feel u mate, but that was literally left over in my country ( not to mention other cheap chinese PSU ) Since my country doesnt support Amazon / ebay so i had to go with this ( for now ) :/

No i did not. Its by default. I didnt change voltage at all. All i did is, tested PBO in Ryzen Master and Manual ( just changed cores from 3.8 to 4.15 ) and that's it

So you're using the XMP memory profile? Might also be why, as that's intended for Intel CPUs and in many cases, it doesn't work well with Ryzen CPUs.

I presume you updated to the latest BIOS/UEFI, as this is super important with Ryzen.

No, its out of the box right now. And yes, i've just enabled in BIOS XMP profile. Also, when i did enabled XMP he gave me just 2133 mhz on ram, so i had to switch manually to 3533 ( cos if i put 3600mhz it wont boot )

Right, there's your problem then, update the BIOS/UEFI, as that will fix that issue. Early AGESA/UEFI implementations didn't have great memory compatibility and also didn't have correct boos behaviour for the CPUs and even caused some weird thermal issues in some cases.

I would be inclined to get the ram running at 3600 and leave it there. That is a real fine AMD platform you have. I bet you will be happy with it in stock speeds.

Yeah but i cant. If i enable XMP my ram will be at 2133mhz. If i put it manually 3600mhz, my System wont boot up. So i just have to lower it to 3533mhz and i can boot up

I wouldn't try to overclock a 3900X on that board anyway the vrm is absolutely terrible

Even at stock you better make sure you have excellent airflow around the vrms.

I would also focus on the memory getting it to 3600 with decent timings.

Ok so, i've updated BIOS and settings are now default.

This is what i get now on Ryzen Master :
Ram :
I've just changed in BIOS DRAM to 3600 and nothing else. ( XMP and Gaming mode are OFF )

Other than using thaiphoon burner to check the ic of your ram so that you can try profiles from ryzen dram calculator you should really think about getting either a 280mm aio or noctua D15 or equivalent for the CPU to help with boost clocks.

Could u please be more specific? Are these timings bad? Im not sure what to do with Ryzen DRAM Calculator, so many options there :D

You need to use thaiphoon burner to find out what your ram is specifically most likely its cjr/djr but you still need to check first that way you can tighten the stock timings which are always terrible. Especially trc and trfc.

You got the ram to 3600, thumbs up. I would leave it there. These new Ryzens are toasty enough in stock form, and speedy enough imo.

This is what i get now from burner : And yes, BIOS update fixed ram, now i could boot my system with default 3600mhz ( XMP OFF )

Cool, so I would start with the Hynix DJR safe profile and then move onto the fast.

If its not biggie for u mate, could u plz explain to me how and what to do / where etc? Tnx in advance
This is for an older version, but works the same, minus the R-XMP option. The second or third comment explains how to get the data from Thaiphoon burner into the DRAM Calculator.

Did you read the third comment on the video on YouTube? The show delay option is something you have to scroll down to find and then Export to HTML Report.
In Thypoon you have to export the timings: press Report > Show delays in nanoseconds > save your file. In the RAM calculator import that file before anything else.
Also, you have Hynix DJR/CJR, not Samsung B-die. The rest looks as it should be.
