untitledfg6.jpg

Just thought you'd like to know!

Techpowerup=even better place to download this kinda stuff :D

never thought to check techpowerup for the downloads, thats a diffrent version of the driver from mine, yours has the volume slider at the top, strange,

oh well try using driver cleaner pro to remove the driver and all its leftovers(think its still got realtek in its list)

then install the latest one clean, see if that helps^^

wow never thought of searching tpu.

once more, hurrah for tpu and all its wonderful peoples!
i'll nab the drivers tonight and install them. Just waiting for the actual system to come in, should be here tomorrow or friday.

"wow never thought of searching tpu"

Random person, which soundcard did you purchase in the end, and how does it sound with your speakers when watching dvds, playing games etc? any regrets?

Creative has good hardware but shit software. Its more like rotten skin on a freshly made apple.

I have got to disagree.

As far as software goes creative overwhelms users with thousands of applications ranging from equalizers to sound players. It is far to bloated!. I can remember once installing a creative card just to descover that I had like 8-10 extra processes running!

And as far as hardware is concerned I feel that creative dont know what their customers want. We want hardware DD and DTS decoding, and SPDIF on budget cards as well as high end cards!

grah. they haven't even come in yet (the speakers that is). I'm emailing logitech tomorrow to see where the heck they are.
