sound card crippling windows 7

my AUZEN AZT-XPCINE 7.1 Channels PCI Interface X-Plosion 7.1 Cinema does not seem to work in my windows 7 (64bit) system without crippling other applications. The sound works, but my task bar does not and I cannot start most applications- so it is a very fatal error. are there diffrent drivers i could try? or anything i can do. it worked fine in xp and vista 64 but not in windows 7. and this is a driver issue cus when i uninstal the drivers windows 7 works fine

are you using the drivers from Auzen (not the ones on the disk)

i downloaded the the c media cmi8770 vindows 7 beta drivers bc that is the chipset the card has and thouse are the only windows 7 drivers that are out http://www.techeta.com/2010/01/c-media-cmi8770-windows-7-vista-xp-audio-drivers.html
