hi, im looking for a updated version of spd. reason is because my memory is reporting at 33mhz when its DDR3 1333 (PC3 10666). i read around that i can change the spd to tell it to work correctly. so i want to save one spd from one of my good memory sticks and flash the one reporting incorrect. is their a tool i can use to do this or spd only tool i can use for windows 7/8 Thaiphoon Burner is a paid software and i cannot afford to buy any thing.

i have tried changing the timings and voltage to manufactor specs but still the same thing, that ram is the only one that is reporting at that speed.

Chipsets
North Bridge
AMD 990FX
South Bridge
AMD SB950

i cannot use wpcredit because it tells me it cannot load driver and i think its no longer supported.

There is no updated version of SPDTool. Please show us a screenshot including CPU-Z memory and SPD tab. I doubt you really need to edit your memories profiles.

why do you doubt that i dont need to do it? i want a solid answer why you doubt i dont need to flash spd. and no i cannot afford to send it in to manufactor and as well warrenty ended. i dont need to change any thing in bios because i done it all already. nothing wrong with mobo or power supply or any hardware other then the memory stick. nothing wrong with OS, i tried memory 2 different mobos same issue.

Thanks for the screenshot. The max Bandwitdh entry in SPD Tab results from the highest available JEDEC profile provided. In your case that is / should be DDR3-1066 (533MHz). The failed reading of slot 1 doesn't really matter, since your system obviously set the correct timings nonetheless. If you want DDR3-1333 with these sticks, then you need to enable the XMP. ASUS and Gigabyte mainboards have a feature in UEFI called D.O.C.P. and E.O.C.P. that will make an XMP work for AMD systems as well. Other manufacturers might have a similar option under a different name.

Adding another SPD profile (Non-XMP) for DDR3-1333 with Thaiphoon Burner might not work if this kit already needs 1.65V at this speed. The JEDEC profiles have to use 1.5V or 1.35V (for DDR3L) by default.
