Hi there!
I have a little prob with my speakers/mouse.
When i move my logitech M215 wireless mouse my USB-powered Altec Lansing Speakers make a buzzing noise.
WHY!?!?!?!
The noise isnt loude, but its annoying when its quiet.
It only goes away, when i connect the speakers to a seperate USB charger.
Mute doesnt work either.
Annyone who knows a fix?
PLLLZ!!!

EMI resulting from poor shielding which is common with USB ports (or speaker cables).

Only thing you can do is make sure they're connected as far away as possible from each other, or use an external power supply (like you mentioned).

No idea about the mute though.

I had this problem with the front speaker jack on my computer, the ferrite ring added to the cord helped. Maybe you can try that- or I have read about people rigging up a better ground as well.

(can you fix the spelling in the thread title )
