So I got myself a new RX 480, specifically the red and black twin frozr one. And I noticed something's up with one of the scenes in the Heaven benchmarks. It looks like a spike and I've never seen that in any one of my games. OCCT does perfectly fine with no problems and then I see this crap. I swear, I have the worst of luck. Here's a screenshot with a man pointing to indicate where the problem is.

What's weird is I've run Heaven hundreds of times and never seen that. Then I just ran it again to see if I could. And there it was. So I'm going to call it "normal".

Wait, you're kidding right? I've never seen that before ever, even in my other defective RX 480s that were unstable as hell. What could be causing it? Did they update heaven or something?

No. Not kidding. Though I could be mistaken. I just don't remember ever seeing it before. Anyway, it's not something I'm going to waste any of my time worrying about. If it's there for me, and there for you, it's probably there for everyone. So why stress about it?

Just play the games.

I'm not even sure what you are pointing at.

hello there, my pc crashed with random lines. then in bios it shows horizontal pink lines. win10 loading screen appears and then blank screen with monitor showing steady green light// what can be the issue here ? mobo , ram or graphics card ?? please help :)
start your own thread.. this has nothing to do with your system. :)

I'm not sure either, looks normal.

This..

...not a clue either as to what he's trying to show in the first place..or the incredibly silly and not helpful pointer.

Lol. Spooning a glitch in a benchmark?? It's a very first for me lol

I went through my Heaven screenshots folder and found one from 5/26/16 that shows it. Proving it's not a recent glitch. And that it's probably always been there. Outlined it for clarity.

It's fine. Heaven sucks as a benchmark anyway.

I apologize, I should've used a bright red color or something to circle it. But yeah I guess I just never noticed it before.

I see it now, and, I have it as well. Likely just a tessellation artifact. Nothing to worry about, particularly if you are not seeing it in other games, etc.

Well it is settled @Tekelectric

@EarthDog has the same "Artifact" as you do and he is on a GTX 1070, so this tells me it is apart of the benchmark, It looks pretty normal unlike typical graphics artifacting.

So Just Play Games and stop worrying about crap like this, your card is fine

I couldn't even see it on first image. I think it's error in rendering engine of the benchmark. Stuff like this happens when you use tessellation on things you're actually suppose to model yourself and then they go awkward as soon as something tiny is wrong.
