ssd stops working while playing but comes back after restart?

That drive has over 3,500 errors logged. I’ve never seen anything that high.

That was a good catch, the DC4 reading. I just went by force of habit and saw that there was no media and data errors logged, which means the NAND is fine. Really looks like a bad controller from my point of view

I, and especially dro, get world economy is not always consumer friendly. Better to remove it and recycle or whatever than deal with system errors.

Get a decent M.2 or other SSD.
any brand that would you recommend? im going to keep it in case is just a error by my part and can be fixed for someone else with the same error if it goes without error im going to say that is fixed if not ill buy other drive, I just find it fun trying to fix something

would losing power mid working also cause that?

You mean an abrupt shutdown? Don't think so, at least none of my SSDs have it including the one that came with my laptop, which has run out of battery mid operation before. Mind you this is a tiny 2230 drive, I literally taped to my motherboard... still fine :D

We typically say go with something that looks good to you and has usable warranty. Brand allegiance is less of a factor than in the earlier days of SSD.
