I emailed the FAQ team about the game and I got a quick reply

Q: Will this game be priced like a regular game or will it be fairly cheap?

I would love to play it but i'm not willing to pay the same price as a regular newly released game.

Also, will this be released on steam?

A: We need to finalise this stuff, but we were talking to Paradox (our publisher) about $19.99/19.99 Euros. I think it is reasonable pricing. Especially for a game which is better than Starcraft 2. Well, in a way.

I was under the impression that this game was just a bit of a muck around, for a bit of fun, 6 months to a year in development... Is it actually a full game with a campaign, multiplayer, multiple units (seems there was only tanks/infantry in the trailer) and a few years in development?

A: I'm not sure about digital distribution for the UK, hope it will be equivalent of 19.99 Euros, not £19.99, which is simply unfair.

Yes, the game spent less than a year in development, but you should note that it was so fast because of the established RTS-pipeline and the fact that we use Blitzkrieg II engine and don't actually write everything from scratch.

SvM has full campaign, multiple units (few types of tanks, couple of infantry types, Katysha rocket launchers, mobile artillery), offmap abilities (like air raids), music video intermissions. But no multiplayer. No one really needs multiplayer in a game, well, called Stalin vs. Martians.
