i am using omega drivers with radlinker/radclocker (me bad for not using atitool i know)but i do enjoy radclocker but radclocker has no fan control as of yet.

i was wondering if there is any stand alone software for gpu fan/speed control
out there.

or can i change the default fan speed, i have a sapphire x800 pro with a arctic silencer 4 and the default is 43% i would like to set it around 60-75% which is what i set it at using sti tool.

If you've really got your heart set on not using ATI Tool, you could plug the fan into a standard power source instead of the card and then put a variable resistor on it, or change the plug on it and put it on a standard fan controller.

quite messy if u do it the 'hard' way as most gpu fan have different connectors than ur typical 3 pin connector.. but it does give you manual control over ur fan speed..
