Well just come across this comparison and are the Starfield cut-scenes so dull ?.

I came across this mod to increase the number of followers. I haven't tested it out yet but its just console commands so it should it be easy to get going. I like having a full ship, makes it feel more alive.

 
I moved the bridge to the rear, much better immersion. Reactor under the bridge. Work in progress.
Still don't know where to put the shield.
Not finished the back of the bridge part, and i will move the guns in front of the bridge.

It is maxed out length. There is a mod to remove the max limit but i dont want to use it, it can corrupt the save games.

No corruption with BBSL, or any mods thus far in my experience.
 
I've got mods removing engine, grav and all kind of limits, as well as build size and I've had them since a few days after launch. No save corruption in sight.

One really shouldn't give any particular credence to the vast majority of such claims, since usually the person making them generally has zero idea if the corruption was actually due to a given mod or its incidental interaction with the 894 other mods that has been piled onto the game.

This. I've been using all ship and builder mods since day one as well w/o issue and to repeat no corruption and I've yet to see any complaints on nexus about it either.

There's A, B and C class reactors, if you have a C level component and a B reactor you'll get that error.

You know, that's what I thought it meant before I even searched for what the error means, but I even tried it with all A class weapons and still got that error. Come to think of it though, it may have been that the shield was C class and the reactor was B class. I seem to recall I DID try it with a C class reactor though, despite it being WAY too tall and ugly to use on that ship.
 
That's good, when i started modding the game, there was a lot of post about corrupted ships and saves. Maybe it was an early version of ship unlocker.
Which mod do you use to remove the size limit?
I really want to make my ship much longer size to place turrets on the front left and right. It is very cool to watch automated turrets rotating a firing from first person view.
I use a few mods, not much. (this is on my weak notebook, on my main rig is almost the same but without the potato mods)

Then that is the reason.
 
It is hard to hide the C reactors.
It is 2 unit high. And the C class grav drive also 2 unit high.
So it is for bigger 4-5 unit high ships. 1 unit the landing bay 2 unit the reactor and 1 unit that over the reactor to hide it.
I hide it under the bridge, and i use B class grav drive just because it is only one unit high.

Yeah it was I, but as well as I had the thing equipped, I still had to drop down to Normal difficulty. I think next NG+ I'm going to side with Hunter or Emissary so I don't have to go it alone in that dog fight. I kicked it back up to Hard when I got on the planet, and even tried the attack vs negotiate ending of Revelation. What a mess that was, got lots of lag and a crash. Thanks for the help.

BTW, as you may have guessed I didn't actually try the C class reactor, I only thought about it, but once I saw how tall it was, I opted not to. I was just up so late I'd forgotten that.

No Minimum Landing Gear
No Grav Drive Weight Limit
No Engine Power Limits
No Shield Limit
No Grav Drive Weight Limit

And also these two, which are simply bat files you can either run from console or just paste into StarfieldCustom.ini to have them run at start.

Imo you just ruined the entire fun of ship building by doing that... the limits are there so you have to work around them, and get creative, which is the fun part. But i can see some people in this thread are posting pics of their lame modded ships with 100.000 shield etc... "fun"...

Do you use a mod manager? I used to use vortex but switched to manual as vortex kept screwing up. I'm at like 30 mods roughly lol.

I'm using those mods too except for the tolerance tweaks, they just threw me off when it came time to hide weapons.
 
Reached lvl 51, and using no mods (cause mods are lame) i finished how my Frontier is gonna be

Replaced the PBO-40 autos with these

And got a new reactor on

Mobility took a slight hit to 91, but it's as good as it gets while maintaining the look of the original Frontier with the engines etc, which is what i wanted.

Once i reach lvl 60 (thus have all C class upgrades unlocked) i will build the ultimate C class ship with a ton of cargo space. Gonna use 6x of these engines https://inara.cz/starfield/ship-module/2010/ and accept a bit lower mobility (like 50), as i will use turrets - should be able to get at least 15.000 cargo space with that setup.

And liked how this place looked !

It's always a little amusing when people prove that their only reference for how things are, should be and should be done is...themselves. Even more perhaps when it pertains to something as absolutely crucial as how exactly computer games are played.
