yes, the TRUE. cant remember its manufacturer, sorry.
ThermalRight Ultra-120 Extreme. :)

sfxhewitt something is fubared with your box cooler. Take a look at those pesky push-pins, even with stock cooler you should have better temperature for stack frequency and 1.25Vcore.
For God sake your Core0 was in throttle at some point, please don't torture your CPU.

too much thermal paste can be an issue 100% of the time. If you put something like a small BB size blob on the processor, then let the weight of the heat sink spread it across the processor face, you should get even distribution :toast:

Id recommend you buy a new one mate, mine has a few bent fins, plus I dont have the quickmount kit (binned it) and im using the original fan. :toast:

i covered the whole cpu with paste

Sorry, i lol'ed so hard

Reminds me of a young child saying "I eated it" or something

Ok, back to being serious. Over covering the cpu is bad - why? Because TIM is also an insulator in thicker ammounts, which is bad.

Now we're talking! :toast:
That's it, those are real temperatures in load at stock speeds and stock cooling.

so buy an XIGMATEK HDT-S1283

get the retention bracket for it also. It'll give you a better seal between the heatsink and cpu and you won't have to mess with those push-pins(the retention bracket uses nuts and screws)
