The BC1 Open Benchtable has been around for a while, being the brainchild of a collaboration between Streacom and Overclocking-TV back in the day. Now, one minor and one major revision later, the BC1 V2 is quite the engineering marvel, making it one of the highest-quality bench tables out there.

Thank you for the review! Nice piece of engineering! I wish it was more accessible in Canada. Might not worth it anymore with the cost of shipping over sea for me...

It's a great product, one which I followed since it was just a DIY idea. When Streacom started selling the BC1 Mini, I decided to swallow the shipping cost which, at the time, almost doubled the cost of BC1 Mini itself, got one and still use it. First version had several problems, mostly due to alumimium threads, but it was fixed in V2.
All in all, one of my favorite products of all time. Well designed, engineered and with a team of DIY enthusiasts behind it (Open Benchtable).

Looks very nice, well made, and versatile. Hopefully, some case mfgr's will see it & take some cues from Streamcom's engineering prowess and superior design skills..... :)

I absolutely love my BC1, so easy for testing various air & water cooling setups, as well as testing old(er) hardware.

The thermal & gaming stress tests as well as the noise test weren't really necessary, @Darksaber but it was a good laugh. :D

I've been using these benches for EX OC, testing and my daily PC. They are incredibly well made, look great and not extremely expensive :D Great review, thanks!

A very nice piece of kit, but that price...

I just got the old ATX model on offer thanks to this being released. Wanted for 2 years but price was always stupid. As it was red was relatively cheap but matches my ram sticks perfectly and man that build quality is something else.

Hello, I also live in Canada and had to have one.
First thing was for me to have an email discussion with the OBT team. I found them to be very responsive and helpfull so I went ahead and ordered the table with two switches. the cost for that in Canadian dollars was $302, and then another $55 dollars for Canadian tax and duty. Yes $357 for a barebones "case" with zero resemblance to a case. For me as a mindless enthusiast of anything tech it was worth every penny! Oh, shipping was included and came quickly in less than a week VIA DHL.
