Hi, i'm Leonardo and i'm having problems of micro stutters on my pc... it started 1 week after i upgraded my gpu from a 1050 to a 1650 which i sent back because i thought it was a faulty gpu. So yeah now i have a 1050 and micro stutters that are driving me so mad, the game does not feel polished.. So i tried a lof ot thing which:

* Clean reinstall of windows
* Clean reinstall of nvidia drivers with DDU (old and new drivers)
* Unplugged front usb (yes there was someone who was stuttering because of it so i tried it. Obviously it did not solve my problem)
* Bios update
* Installing latest intel chipset and so on drivers
* Different hdmi cables
* Disabled windows gaming mode
* Disabled xbox overlay
* Vsync on & Off (i do not have g-sync or free-sync)
* Adaptive sync on nvidia control pannel
* Paid to get the pc all clean inside
* Monitored temps
* Some other things i do not recall right now

This pc was pre-assembled by MSI

In-Depth Specs: https://www.manua.ls/msi/codex-s-8ra-004eu/specifications
Motherborad: H310M PRO-M2 PLUS
the only things i changed where:

all the changes were done before the micro stutters almost 1.5/2 years ago
Ram: https://www.amazon.it/gp/product/B07Q2BDXBG/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Hdd changed to SSD: https://www.amazon.it/gp/product/B07YD579WM/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Added an NVME: https://www.amazon.it/gp/product/B08THY359R/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1

If you need any other information please ask.
Thanks in advance.

P.s. Forgot to mention that when i stream on discord no one see the stutters. Only i see it. Also the pc is 5 years old and i never changed my monitor which is a: Acer Ha220Q
I have no clue on what is causing it. Gonna post afterburn graphics (i never alt tabbed) when i was playing league of legends. i took this screenshots after a while so only half of it is actually when i was playing (you can see that the frametimes suddently go down so yeah that's when i stopped playing)
If any mod sees that the category is wrong i apologize. I did not know where to post

Suggest add specs to your TPU profile, as you making people click a link to see them.

I have seen NVME itself cause stutters in games when the CPU hasnt the power to drive the NVME i/o and the game at the same time. If you using the NVME to play the games see if moving a game of that stutters and retesting shows an improvement.

If you only see the stutters, it could be vsync related.

Hard to give reasonable ideas. But looking at graphs, it does point to CPU bottlenecking.

Thanks i added the general specs (cannot edit the post for some reason .-.)
also about the cpu bottlenecking... it seems strange i never had issues like this in 5 years and the monitor and gpu are the same (since i reinstalled my old 1050)
about the vsync related... i think it might be, because i tried playing on TF2 today to see if even here i got some micro stutters and i do but i also noticed screen tearing which i never had on this game!
i'm thinking that the hdmi port is faulty and maybe i need to try a displayport but i do not know if it can fix the issue. to use a display port i would need to buy a new monitor which i was already considering
also i tried to play it vsync on and off and with vsync on i get a lot of input lag.. while on off i get screen tearing which i never did

what game is this?

Some online games can microstutter due to network activity. Windows also likes to occasionally update your network drivers to less than ideal versions and that can kick it off.

the parts are reasonably old... when was the last time you cleaned them? could be thermal paste is dry

The game is Team fortress 2

and the pc was cleaned 1 week ago and i also changed the thermal paste (not first time changing it)

Sometimes a windows update can cause issues.

I have also seen this. Especially with older hardware, sometimes Windows will install a new driver "helping" you completely ruin things. So you may want to look at the install history and see if something lines up with when you started experiencing the issue. If your network driver is one of those things, see if you can roll it back to the older driver. Usually I've had this issue with audio on my older laptop, which just made it a silent PC lol, but I imagine that can happen with the network driver as well. I'd also check your installed applications list for the same timeline to see if you've got something in the background either eating up your network bandwidth or that has some kind of spikey usage.

I made a full clean reinstall of windows so i don't think it's application related, for the drivers i will check

Use Latencymon from https://www.resplendence.com/latencymon and check your DPC latency.
The application says everything is fine.. :c

also i think that this micro freezes are more like hiccups(?) anyway i get the frame frozen for a very low time and then the game proceeds smooth before another hiccup, anyway during this hiccups i lose from 5 to 10 fps instantly for no reason

only thing i see is in afterburn2 pic that your 6 cores are sometimes all at 100% and that should not happen during a game like team fortress2
and it looks like that could be your hiccups

Only the first half of the graph is when i was playing (on the graph i was playing league of legends) the other half i was doing other things not playing

A faulty or longer that it should monitor cable or something running on the background when playing?

I tried different hdmi cables and i also reinstalled windows clesn and tried to play league without any other application running

maybe the psu, even if new, some units just dont provide stable juice.
if you can swap out to test, for long term, i still say invest in something "better".
the psu is most important part, the fastest hw wont work without it.

without any info on your profile we dont even know location, so i wont list shops.
psu tier list

It's an msi rig so your issue might just be aging hardware. That said, try this

Type "Exploit Protection" into the search box in win 10.

Set Control Flow Guard (CFG) to Off by default. Restart and test.

Also you can set the GPU to MSI mode with High interrupt setting and it'll change the GPU from queue polling to direct.
Get msi tool from here, run as admin, check the box for your gpu if it isn't already, set priority to high, apply in top right and restart.

Also you need to reset msi mode after a new driver install.

And have you checked ssd smart status? And is there more than 10% free space on your ssd?

Tried the MSI util but nothing. I don't know how my friends did not notice the stuttering but in the video i just did i can see them. I will post it now it's in the video player (i'm so confused but yes i get micro freezes even there for some reason- and they are the same micro freezes i see in game so... it might be a mobo problem? i don't think it's the gpu since i get the same problem on both 1650 and 1050)

Here:

I also made another video but while i was in game but.. it's not consistent like it sometimes freezes TO ME and sometimes not. So i did not post it because you would not notice it. While in the media player it's more noticeable (I don't know why but HEY computer things) For those who want to try and spot the super micro freeze happening in the first second here is the video:

It's a pre-assembled msi pc... but yeah the psu is kinda old to be fair

I also just tried to change my ram to the old one. Same problem

Yes there is more than 10% space in my ssd i have 1 Tb space with 540 m/s transfer speed

having the same issue with different specs, we think it may be a software issue because it stops when i share my screen on discord but thats as far as we know
