Duck Hunt is the greatest classic for moments like these. The best console game however is Amplitude for the PS2 -Frequency is almost as good.

For the PC, I'd have to go with Battlefield 2 LAN style. It's a lot more fun when 10 computers are hooked up, each with a drunk operator. Good times!
