There has been speculation in the past about a real video iPod, with a large screen. But Apple has kept us waiting. So other firms have taken the normal, 5th Generation iPod and made a big screen for it. The iLuv upgrades your viewing screen to a full 7 inches. It is actually classified as a portable DVD player with an iPod dock. It can be bought for $249,95 right here.

that thing is lookin sweet, i wouldnt mind having that. it sure would be a hell of alot better then watching movies on that dinky little screen on the ipod.

guys, I understand if you hate ipods because of their popularity, or especially because their mother company is the worst company on the planet (for obvious reasons, plus those new pc vs. mac commercials make me want to just kill people, specifically the people on the commercials), but don't insult the 3rd party accessories that don't deserve it just because they're associated with Apple. This is a pretty cool accessory I must admit.

And since Apple is genius enough to give the beautiful ipod a shell made out of......almost liquid it's so scratchable, I can barely see the screen on my ipod video now, and that's just from it being in my specifically clean, nothing else in there with it pocket. So this might be a good idea for me, especially since the ipod isn't actually visible when you're using the accessory.

It's funny, I tested how scratchable it was by comparing it to my cheapo $150 cell phone by putting them in the same pocket, and my phone's about 2 months older than my ipod, AND I put my keys and change with my cell phone all the time, and my cell phone's external screen is still in MINT condition. But the ipod is almost unusable from all the scratches on it.
