Super Talent Technology is following other memory makers, with the introduction of the popular Project X in a new DDR3-2000 2GB (2x1GB) kit. This Project X kit is built with the fastest available, carefully screened DRAM chips, and is hand tested as a matched pair on a dual channel ASUS Striker II Extreme motherboard. Labeled as DDR3-2000 PC3-16000 2GB Kit (2x 1GB), the W2000UX2GP can operate using CL9-9-9-28 timings and only 1.9V. Project X memory is designed, built and tested in Super Talent's San Jose, California headquarters, and is backed with a lifetime warranty. The W2000UX2GP kit will begin shipping today at street prices under $400.

why cant it come up with something more original other then the name Project X?
as cool as it sounds its so gimmicky

Still waiting for cheap DDR3 ram. 2gb for 100$ should be the price point manufacturers should be aiming for ATM IMO!

Talking about RAM prices, I took a break from PCs for about 8 months, and when I came back and got a 2GB kit of DDR2 for $80, I just about shit myself.

Prices will drop. Being Intel-exclusive sure isn't helping right now.

Mine cost me 34$..

Before rebate, and in October. Good RAM too. Sold it today for $45 :)

I got 2 gigs of DDR2 for $50, had a $40 mail in rebate.

My most recent set I bought for my fourth PC cost me $20 shipped from someone on these forums.

Its MicronD9 too! :D

Wow nice rebate!!!!

But if its from TigerDirect you might not get the money. :(

If I didn't already have the 1800Mhz version of this ram, I would get this. Very high quality memory, lifetime warranty, however not much room for overclocking.

However, you wouldnt really need to overclock it. Its about maxed out as it is. Im sure you could squeeze a few percentage points more out of it, but honestly, with those speeds there is no need too. Awesome stuff and I love the name :D
