So I got two new caviar black 1TB's and I have a current raid set up with some seagates. I have backed up everything on those two drives but am unsure if taking them out and just simply replacing them then configuring the raid again will work. OS is on another drive. Do I have to do everything again (floppy drive, raid drivers blah blah) or can i just install, go into bios, select RAID and let it format them.. I suck with HDD's.

should work fine like u have planned.. just unplug, put new HDDs in, let it format, should be fine! :)
u've backed up - thats the most important part! :)

If reinstalling OS onto them yes, you would need to go through the hassle. Won't even need to do a format, your raid utility should just clear all partitions and data on them currently.

Should work, make sure you have a backup and if you can set the seagates aside untouched for a little while to make sure everything is good with the new setup.

If you have enough ports you may be able to set up the new RAID0 array while the old one is still online. Then you could move everything over much faster than from the backup.

Just make sure you have good backups of everything first.
