Switched GPU from NVIDIA to AMD, the new GPU shows no signal on monitor, fans turn on. Nvidia GPU when put back, It works perfectly.

A cable can cause issues for one card and not another, particularly when you are talking about an adapter cable. Of course it could just be the port but you cannot rule out the cable either.

Hi, I have one more question, why is it that the DVI to hdmi works with the GT420 but not with the r9 350?
Edit: I tested the dvi to hdmi on my main MSI monitor and it worked, but why did it not work with the TV?
