Wait a minute my board wont even boot with my Phenom if I dont have the f6 bios.. I may be mistaken but you should be having issues if your not using f6 right now.

Im convinced this is the motherboard checking to see if the first bios works ok, then everything appears to switch on and off and back on again, and thats when the screen comes on. But it does seem a very long wait. Mate of mine thought his psu was shorting all the time thanks to that

Take the board battery out for a good 10 minutes and put it back in. It does that for me when I have an unstable OC.

Crtecha, does the Motherboard have a backup bios?

It has dual bios. Now I dont know if you flash them if it keeps the stock bios as a back up or if it changes those too.

Ok here is my theory, I dont have much knowledge of dual bios! Ok whats happened is that somehow you flashed both of your bios somehow and hence could only boot with the F6 bios, your backup couldn't kick in because it was also a bad bios. Now with the OP, he either flashed the first bios badly and the PC is taking a while to detect that and use the second bios (Which it can do because it still has the backup bios which is ok), or its normal for it too take so long, but other people with that board should be able to tell you there experiences.

If I have got something mixed up along the way please let me know! :p

WojtasRed, does your motherboard have a backup bios, in case you mess up an overclock or something?

Yes, this MoBo has Dual Bios. There`s also option: LOAD FAIL-SAFE DEFAULTS, I tried it but it doesn`t change anything, still get this problem.

Ok so maybe then there is nothing wrong apart from the fact that it takes too long?? Maybe you can change the time to detect correct bios option or something if there is one?? Maybe Fail Safe Defaults makes it take a little longer??

Hey brotha sorry for the delay. I went home and actually ran into a huge mess. My BIOS had been reverted back to F4 due to me messing up OC'n. Soo I had to reflash back to F6 and I left all the BIOS settings to default at first and I had no issues took about 3 secs to see the first post screen. I disabled any ports that I dont use firewire, serial.lpt ect. That didnt change anything in the aspect of posting but it did shave a tad bit off my over all boot time.

Im pretty sure its not your HDD, but try disconnecting your HDDs and then turn it on, you computer will still post without them, so do that and youll know if its your HDD or not
