I soaked RAM for one-hour in the Turpentine, and the heatshields basically fell off when I removed them, diden't actually need the tools.

Then I washed, rinsed with 91% Isopropyl Alcohol to remove turpentine, any glue residue. Going to leave them out in the sun for awhile, will wait 24-hours to test.

The Xtreem heatshields inter-lock with tabs, and pins, along with the adhesive,.. very well made, thermo pad on the PMIC.

I guess the first question is Why?
 
I would have assumed Turpentine would eat the PCB. Guess not. A more destructive way is a hair dyer for 30-50 seconds. Peal and repeat until it comes apart. Some brands are extra hard to get apart like XPG, but Teamgroup is one of the easier ones I think.

The foam side is a pain to get off usually. Sometimes you can get under the glue and it comes off in a strip. Most often its in chunks :/

Nice! I'll have to keep this method in mind if I change my Ripjaws heatspreaders.

I think I didn't apply enough heat when removing them from my first Viper Steel kit so that may have caused their weird behaviour and eventual demise.

I have a set from this line and they stay cool enough for my use on air, but I'm not running them that hard either.

Running close to 9.000W is about the limit with the OEM heatshields, need better cooling to go higher. :)

I would not trust turpentine. PCBs are coated with resins to keep the layers sealed together and to keep moisture and contaminates out.
