Struggling to find an option in the settings, and didn't want to start a new thread for it...

The words I get to choose under my avatar picture (Currently "performance enthusiast"), where do I find that setting? I set it so long ago I forget where it is but I feel like I've gone through all the profile settings pages and can't find it.

Kind of pushy no? Especially considering I'd hazard a very large majority of people want nothing to do with push notifications from any website.

All I see there is the ability to change username and avatar picture, so I wonder how I ever set it in the first place, I remember choosing it.

I think way back it was a pm to w1zz for change.

Send me a PM, I have to change it manually

This is the default XF text, and I agree, with you, any suggestions how to reword?

Maybe something like:

" If you would like to receive important site notifications, please enable them in your browser settings. Most browsers should prompt you about this. "

I had chatGPT come up with these

"Enhance your experience by enabling website notifications to stay up-to-date with the latest tech news!"

"Get instant updates! Click 'Enable' to allow website notifications and stay in the know without any hassle."

"Get instant updates by enabling website notifications – click 'Enable' to stay in the loop!"

"Hey TechPowerUp enthusiast! Ready to level up your experience? Turn on website notifications to be the first to catch our latest articles and tech insights."

"Hey TechPowerUp fan! Ready to level up your experience? Turn on notifications to stay in the know about our latest articles and tech updates."

According to unclewebb the i7-13700HX has an unlocked multiplier, according to TPU it is a locked CPU:

Hi,
Finally found out how to get rid of the silly enable drm banner I keep getting on just the tpu forum page

Code:
Firefox remove enable drm crap banner
All to false but it may not need all of them to get rid of it.
about:config
browser.eme.ui.enabled
media.eme.enabled
services.sync.prefs.sync.media.eme.enabled

? Time for that inevitable 2024 thread ?

Indeed, after holidays

(I know it's 2024 )
I'm not quite able to get multi-quote to work on mobile or desktop. I click +Quote and it shows all messages in the dialogue when I click "Add Quotes", but then only the last message I quoted appears. To multiquote I have to select the text and click the 'reply' that appears under it.

On that topic, the pinned thread about multiquote has broken images on my end

For the banner asking for push notifications, mine reappears every month or so, no idea why.

Probably when cookies from your browser got deleted it'll ask again...

Posting here as I haven't seen a 2024 thread yet.

I had a reply to a watched thread come up in my notifications. The post was LQ'd before I opened that thread, which broke the "jump to new" function. It defaulted to the beginning of the thread and the jump to new button did nothing.

Not a major issue but something to be aware of.

Fixed now :)

Yeah that's a shortcoming of the way I built the LQ addon
