TPUCapture is our gift to the PC enthusiast community. This nifty little screenshot utility lets you directly upload screenshots to our Free Image Hosting service, and gives out direct sharing links, along with Forums BBCode. We have given it its first major update in years. The new TPUCapture v2.0 is packed to the brim with new features, including support for HiDPI (high pixel-density) displays, in which the OS is upscaling your desktop for clearer fonts. You can now save in three JPEG quality presets, GIF, and lossless PNG formats. You can also tell us if you want us to delete your uploaded image after a specified amount of time. As always, TPUCapture lets you capture select areas of the screen, active windows, or the entire screen. It also lets you highlight portions of your screenshot. Grab TPUCapture from the link below.

Please add WEBP format support as well. If it's made default with e.g. 94% quality, it's better than both PNG (much smaller images) and JPEG (better quality).

The support for WEBP is so, so small, mostl of browsers doesnt even work

One silly / important question, how long it takes to the image to be deleted?

You select the time in the dropdown. Make sure to press F5 to reload from Internet vs. reloading from disk cache

thanks for the new update, teh old version wouldnt register hotkeys for some reason. The new verison works just fine, Lightshot uninstalled :p

I'll give it a try. :)

Woooo, I used to use TPU capture so much, but then it didn't work well with the new OSes, thank you!

Weird, i used ctrl print screen with it, every time it would pop open lol

Awesome! I use this all the time! Way better then windows Snip.

on the other hand, chromium based has the most users, FF seems to be working on it

maybe we'll run into a situation like YT's/html5 spec's webm for some people, mp4 for others

Always used JPEG and Will keep doing it for compatibility purpose. Thank you guys for this.

I know it might be a bit tricky, but would it be possible to implement DPI Scaling linked between the zoom preview window and the Mouse movement?

I use the zoom a lot but when working on someone else s machine (with a cheap mouse) it can be nearly impossible to select accurately when fully zoomed.

Would be awesome if there was an option to reduce mouse DPI as the preview window zooms.

Great tool, although i would love to see more options.

- start with Windows in options menu
- capture and copy to clipboard without interrupting what you're doing (direct URL, unless selected BB code)
- all other options to be persistent instead of for each capture.

Other than that i really like it. Oh, capturing selected window leaves ~3pix of background around the image from sides. That might be limited to Windows 10 though, due to different UI and thinner window borders.

Still can't grab anything from my second monitor :(

Hey can you do TPU image host a ShareX compatible?

Anything that makes your setup different to the norm? I've been using dual-monitors with TPUCapture since the first version

I guess the range of zooming could be adjusted

Love this program. Makes uploads a two click operation. Thanks W1zz

I have dual 4k on a single GPU with SLI enabled (P2715Qx2), Microsoft Screen snipping tool also doesn't work at extremely high resolution either FWIW. Nothing else unusual though.

Is this dead ?, i mean every time you hit the set key it pops the box up making it pointless for taking screenshots in game, hopefully i just missed some thing.

maybe i could use this one as windows snipping replacement :D :D :D :D

I use it every day, like 50 times. It's for desktop screenshots, not for in-game

That's sad to hear.
