Can someone link me to that thread about the gaming software that is suppose shut off irrelevant software and background stuff not used by the game? I thought about it and want to try it now. I searched and I can't find it.

okay, I'm not trying to shot anybody shit, but this program help ME immensely. I'm a COH junkie. I just got the Eastern Front, so I'm on it hard now. I'm the type of butt hole that loves everything cranked. I was getting jerky gameplay, but ran this and most of it stopped. It freed up between 425-500 megs of RAM. I like that this worked, but I'm thinking it's pobably showing underlying problems. My machines not the best, but this could probably help everyone.
