Librewolf seems to be working fine. Only issue I had was some youtube videos wouldn't play, but I think it was due to using Windows 10 N, which doesn't have all the media codecs. I think it fixed now that I have the media feature pack installed. What's stupid is Media Player Classic can play those videos using ffmpeg, and Firefox can do the same on Linux. Why is it different on Windows?

I have Windows 10 N as well, you just have to add the "media player features" through windows settings and it fixes all of that.

as far as removing pocket goes, yeah I dislike the pocket as well. not enough to uninstall firefox though

I am a dedicated Firefox user. I use it with the Malwarebytes extension and pocket is great for saving sites. I can't stand Edge and I haven't tried Brave yet but I'm intrigued.

I tried waterfox a couple of mmins ago. And i realised within the first minutes a major difference to my beloved Brave.

Whilst brave don't even download the Advertisings they are shown in Waterfox. But it was great to see that waterfox also imporrts all Brave settings.

Firefox + ublock here. No ads on YT with them. once in a while I use Edge when I get a compatibility issue, which is more often than not, a needed pop up.

I use Firefox as my main browser. I tried a few forks (Librewolf and Mull) and had issues with them. I also sometimes use Brave.

At work, I use Edge, because amusingly, the company that bought out my employer seems to hate Chrome with a burning passion. Before that, we mainly used Chrome.

I will remain a Firefox user as it's flexibility is second to none, but as an out-of-the-box experience, for many it would be easier to use a fork or a browser dedicated to security if that is your thing.

Yep, google fonts alone is huge and could easily be used to track a user. You can decouple further by having a plugin that keeps a local copy of common web resources and fetches them instead of hitting up google servers.

about:config can disable pocket. Search for pocket.enabled IIRC.

WaterFox is still good, but as it's deviated from the main rendering engine, many extensions no longer work with it. This has also been true of PaleMoon for many years.
