i've used the adaptec gamebridge,basiclly you connect the gamebridge through USB,you get a program i think that will display your ps2 or wii or whatever. if that helps

Are you sing a CRT monitor or LCD monitor?
cause you can technically build a cable (if its LCD) and that would be the cheapest way
