From what I read, the game is a little buggy like the original. They had high standards, and shot it down. Shot it in the head to be exact. 15 times. Then another 20 times in the torso.

But the thing is, I played the Russian version, and I though it was EXCELLENT! Minus the one bug I had where I glitched into a house. No it was not an easter egg. But overall, STALKER CS was spectacular. I am trying to learn minimal Russian. It is the way the game was meant to be played.

Russian version was released Oct 22th, euro version came Sep 5th but the US version was indeed delayed to Sep 15th.

I found a russian version with an english subtitle patch, all the names are still in russian but thats OK.

wtf is the difference between the UK and US version anyway, we both speak English and having extra languages shouldn't be an issue in a US version (French, German, Spanish, Italian)

I couldn't get the Russian version to play. Either it would crash when I launched the game or the Xrengine.exe would manage to run, but there would be no Game Window. Same thing happened to me when I tried the leeked Demo, but I assumed that since it was a leek thats why it wasn't working. Anyone have any ideas?

I tried the russian version,it worked ok but was a little buggy,even with the patch.I could not get it to work with the english patch applied.I am waiting for the english language version.

I used a disc patch for the russian version,it was a bit fiddly to get working though.I just wanted a look before i decide whether to buy it or not.

Yeah I'm glad I took "a look before I decided to buy" as well, because I don't think the US version will work for me as well.

Also does it come out today or Sep 15, cause I think Newegg is already selling copies.

Oh well, I got Mercenaries 2 to keep me busy until I get Far Cry 2 and Red Alert 3 and Crysis: Warhead.
