So i have started getting this BSOD error specifically when playing a modded Cities Skylines, with other applications running side by side (youtube on chrome for example)

1. I updated the chipset drivers...
2. set PBO to off.
3. Removed memory sticks, cleaned and put them back...

It keeps happening.

Looked at the dump file... couldnt understand anything :( So PFA

please HELP!!! My specs are in profile (Monke)

Thanks in advance

What speed are you running your memory and Ifabric reduce speed to diagnose.

I am running at default ifabric, and memory at XMP set values. I've been using these for the last year and havent had any issues till around a month back.

There is no overclock on anything. PBO is also turned off now.

Maybe test the memory at default speeds instead of XMP?

If you reset motherboard BIOS to factory/optimized defaults without XMP - is it stable?
Might be a failing memory controller...

Downclock the memory.

What XMP value/speed, if you're at XMP and fabric is auto it Does increase with ram speed automatic.

Will try this.. and check.

Not sure if this is important... But i am still on my original power supply. a GS600 from around 2009.. so 14 years old now.... But i checked the voltages, i dont see any voltage dropping below ATX specs on full load.

EDIT: i can see this board seems to have had issues with running this pair of ram at 3600MHz... but they were fixed with BIOS updates.

EDIT2: there is a new BIOS! lemme get that

Download CoreCycler https://github.com/sp00n/corecycler/releases/tag/v0.9.4.2
Keep default settings for it for now, and run the .bat file for at least 10 cycles. Don't use any other programs like MPC-HC, browsers etc while running it.

Bughcheck 124 from your dump is usually CPU related

memory tested. all ok.

I just set the RAM timings manually instead of relying on the XMP profile. there are issues with reading the profile it seems. so far so good. also updated the bios while at it.

CoreCycler is a CPU test
i used memtest64 lol its under tpu's downloads

the corecycler didnt throw any erros either. infact none of the stress testing apps would. which is why i had to post here lol.

but till now after i did the memory settings manually, it seems to be working so far

Whea 18 bsod + reboot, correct? Which GPU? In the past when I had whea 18 I went through months of troubleshooting and replaced everything but the mobo. In the end, it was the GPU which was defective. Even replaced the CPU twice. All along my curve optimization and memory tuning settings had nothing to do with whea 18. Now I do still get some correctable wheat 19 but that's due to my 1900 fclk.

Just FYI, XMP is overclocking if it's driving over your CPU & motherboard specified memory speeds and configuration.

Hello old thread, i think i got to the root of this issue.

Swapped out my PSU for a new RM750e and.... well so far so good....

EDIT. yeah.. looks like it fixed the issue.

i mean cant really blame a FOURTEEN year old power supply for not being able to deliver its rated watts hahaha.

GS600 will forever live on, on a pedestal now!

If only Bill saw your thread, it would be the absolute first thing he'd tell you to check

except its near impossible to check. it was the first thing i had checked too. no drop in voltage, stays within spec, even when system under full load for hours.

XMP is an overclock, just factory supported.

First port of call drop it to jedec and see if stabilises.
