io9 recently got a look at what to expect from Wizards of the Coast's biggest crossover yet—and found plenty to appeal to fans of Magic and Final Fantasy alike.

@Princess Garnet I know you probably aren't interested, just thought I'd tag you anyway. New Final Fantasy Magic the Gathering crossover was revealed today, and here is the first card sleeve that was revealed: If anyone would appreciate it, I thought it might be you. Even if you don't play Magic the Gathering, you may want to consider giving the artwork a look, the art is always very beautiful and unique in Magic the Gathering.
I wouldn't recommend getting into Magic the Gathering though, its expensive, but if you just want to learn and enjoy the starter decks for FF are meant to play each other, $19 and it will have some cards from FFIX

I'm not sure how I will use Tidus counter moving ability, but it probably has potential I just can't think of yet. Maybe unblockable creatures, move counters to them.

I just wish all cards kept the same sigil for this expansion, i love the little baby chocobo sigil...

why it isn't used for all cards and this expansion has two sigils I do not understand, never seen this before, usually it is a single consistent one
some of my favorites so far from the comprehensive list:
