The performance of i5 1155g7 is falling

I'm playing on a laptop with an integrated graphics card. Productivity decreases over time. For example, at the beginning there are about 80 fps. After 2-3 hours, fps drops to 30. I noticed that this is due to a drop in processor frequency. What can be done to keep productivity from falling?

Check the Log File box before you start playing. Try to play a game for at least 15 minutes. When finished testing, exit ThrottleStop so it can finalize the log file. This file will be in the ThrottleStop / Logs folder. Attach a log file to your next post so I can get a better understanding why your laptop is slowing down.

Before you start logging data, open the TPL window. Clear the Disable Controls box and check the MMIO Lock box. This might help improve performance. A log file will confirm the reason for any throttling.

There were no performance issues.

Your computer is still slowing down but it is probably not slowing down as much now as it was before. It is constantly thermal throttling. If you can find a way to improve the cooling, your computer will run faster. If you have never cleaned out your laptop then now would be a good time to do that. Use Honeywell PTM 7950 if you decide to change the thermal paste.

Should I keep the settings the same or should I return them to the default?

Use whatever settings that allow your computer to run fast and reliably.

Intel design their CPUs so they can run reliably up to 100°C. As long as a computer is not crashing, its temperature is OK. The CPU will automatically adjust its speed to maximize performance without the temperature ever becoming unsafe. That is what Intel thermal throttling is all about. It works great.
