I would like to replace the stuff on the memory etc., on my 8800gts. Wondering if anyone has any experience with this stuff: Link , I'm going to give it a shot along with some MX-2 if someone knows where to find some?

All the guides I've read show people just putting AS5 on all the chips. I assume it should work the same with the MX-2.

I would see how thick/thin these are first.
Also, I put thermal compound between the pads and memory chips on a x1900xt with a AcceleroX2 and got WORSE temps.
I think it ended up insulating instead of transferring.:(
