So im thinking of getting a notebook for year 11/12/university, also for my Tafe IT vet course, I was looking at getting the Sony Vaio VGN-N37GHB..

Specs:
Intel Core 2 Duo processor T5300 1.73GHz
1GB RAM
100GB HDD Serial ATA, 5400rpm
DVD±RW⁄±R DL⁄RAM Drive
Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 950
15.4" Wide TFT Colour

Just wondering how it would compare to the school's PCs (IBM thinkcentre P4 2.8Ghz, 1GB ddr400, 80GB sata)?

Also has anyone had any experience with sonys range of notebooks? are they reliable? well built?

thanks. xD

Get a dell. Sony are crap. From 10 sold Sony Vaio's 3 were dead. We do not have official sony support here, so we stopped selling these Vaio's.
