Time for new browser? IE6, 7, Opera, Firefox?

What I like about Opera is that it's "ready to go" as soon as the install finishes. IMO, Firefox needs much more of tweaking before it's useable.

Yeah, but with Firefox, you only have to install the features you want. Opera comes with a bunch of stuff that I don't want or need.

Go to their Add-Ons page. There are a ton of Themes and Extensions for it. Some of the first ones I grab are:

Adblock or Adblock Plus and Adblock Filterset.G Updater, for blocking ads.

NoScript for blocking Scripts

Fasterfox, to make it faster

and MR Tech's Local Install, it has a bunch of handy features for tweaking.

Trying out Opera right now and I LOVE the speed dial..........very cool

Opera is king, quick preferences, speed dial, side bar just good stuff, IE 7 is a ripoff of opera and a half bake one at that.
opera is bascially been the same program for the last 4 years, a proven program

Opera may just be my favorite....unfortunately I cannot respond to a message from my AIM email...wont let me type the message for some reason.........other than that it ROCKS

Safari is faster than IE and Firefox. However I'm not sure about Opera.

FIREFOX FTW since i never tried opera :p

Firefox has always been there for me!
IE just plain sux to me...
and Opera, haven't used yet...

FIREFOX!!!:rockout:

trying opera now (this thread convinced me)
seems pretty good :D

LOVE Opera for what its worth....but still am using IE6 for email....If ANYONE can let me know how to make it work with AIM mail....ex AOl user (dont be hatin')....I would go there 100%...I love the mouse highlights over the tabs...love the speed dial!

edit
OPERA FTW,
widgets rule :)

I mostly use Opera. I still have IE installed, just as a backup. Opera is really customizable. You can add/drop/move panels and buttons to your liking. It's also fast and secure. I've been using it since it was version 7.xx.
The new versions can also support torrents. I didn't like that feature. It can be disable by typing opera:config in the address bar and changing settings.

Does Firefox have a "speed dial" function? I am addicted to it in Opera.

Does Opera allow for more than 9 speed dial buttons?
