Are there any simple tools out there that makes nice looking bar graphs? Like the ones in TPU reviews :D
If I have to use a C or C++ library to plot them, that's fine as well.

Well, it has been awhile since I made one bug Excel always worked for me which was nice because the source data was already in the spreadsheet.

If looking for something free, there's always the popular Microsoft Office alternative, LibreOffice.

ggplot2 with R studio is my go-to

I was going to say, we use excel at my site for charts... so does Tom's and Anand. Some that I have a WAY beyond what I can create as it uses macros to pull in data (from ocat, for exampe) to populate sheets, etc.

But yeah, excel.

R studio has a free version, learning R code is fairly simple. If you are interested in expanding your horrizon just a little bit I say go with ggplot2. And use Adobe Illustrator to add legend and etc later.

Hmmm, thanks guys. I'll start fiddling around with Excel, and if I need more, then I will have a go at ggplot2.

With Excel, Libre office and Lotus 1-2-3 available ... I still use Lotus ... Still more inuitive whuch is important when ya need something that you don't do very often done quicly.

I always assumed that Word was where all the graphs came out of lol

Graph support in Word has always been pretty weak. That's not a criticism, however. It is just that spreadsheets and graphs tend to go hand in hand. And I note you can insert Excel graphs in Word documents.
